Toastmasters Club Apps: What Actually Works on Your Phone

A lot of club admin happens on a phone: checking who has which role on the train, finding a substitute five minutes before the meeting, running the timer from your seat. So which tools actually work there? Here is what each option does on a phone today, including ours.

Tool On a phone What it is for
easySPEAK Mobile Free iOS app for clubs on Easy-Speak Seeing meetings, confirming attendance, taking roles
FreeToastHost 4 Described by its makers as mobile-first, with a companion app Your public club website and member area
Base Camp In your phone's browser Official Pathways progress and completions
Toastmanagers Responsive web app, nothing to install Roles, reminders, agendas, and meeting timing

Is there an official Toastmasters club app?

We did not find an official Toastmasters International app for running a club. Base Camp, where Pathways lives, is designed to be used from a browser on a mobile device, and that covers your education path rather than your meeting schedule. For roles and agendas, clubs use separate tools like the ones below.

easySPEAK Mobile

If your club already runs on Easy-Speak, start here. easySPEAK Mobile is a free iOS app that reached version 1.0 in July 2026 and works with clubs on easy-speak.org and tmclub.eu. Members can see upcoming meetings and who holds each role, confirm attendance, volunteer for open roles, and decline a role they can't take. A recent update added scheduling a speech from Pathways progress and let the VP Education accept speech requests from the meeting view.

It needs iOS 17.6 or later. We found no Android version, so a club with mixed phones will have some members on the app and others on the website. See who runs Easy-Speak in 2026 for the background.

FreeToastHost 4

FreeToastHost is first a club website, and its makers describe FreeToastHost 4 as a mobile-first rebuild. It is rolling out to clubs in phases, and its announcements list a companion app for members and officers. We could not confirm which app stores carry it, so check with FreeToastHost support if that matters to your club.

If your site is still on FreeToastHost 3, its pages adjust to small screens, but content you added yourself may not. Images set to a fixed width are the usual culprit. Our guide to what's new in FTH4 covers the move.

Toastmanagers on a phone

Toastmanagers is a web app that fits itself to your screen. Open it in any phone browser, on iPhone or Android, and sign in. There is nothing to download, and every member sees the same version.

  • A schedule built for narrow screens. Roles stay pinned on the left and you swipe between meetings, one at a time, with the next one peeking in.
  • Reminders that reach members anywhere. Email reminders go out 7 days and 1 day before each role, with an optional same-day reminder.
  • One-tap availability. When an officer asks who can make a meeting, members answer from buttons in the email.
  • Meeting tools. A timer with green, yellow, and red signals, plus a Grammarian tab for counting the Word of the Day.
  • PDF downloads. The agenda and speaker introductions download straight to your phone.

How to choose

  • Your club is on Easy-Speak and your members use iPhones: install easySPEAK Mobile. It costs nothing, and you keep the system you know.
  • You need a public website for guests: FreeToastHost. Plenty of clubs pair it with a separate scheduling tool.
  • Your members have a mix of phones, or officers spend their week chasing roles: give Toastmanagers a cycle. Nobody has to install anything.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a Toastmasters club app for Android?
We found no Android version of easySPEAK Mobile. Toastmanagers and Base Camp both work in an Android browser.

Do I need to install anything to use Toastmanagers?
No. It is a responsive web app, so it runs in the browser you already have.

Can members sign up for roles from a phone?
Yes, if your club allows it. In Toastmanagers, officers can let members claim roles directly, and members can request a role for an officer to approve.
